Collection: Runners Sunglasses

Trail runners often spurn sunglasses because they do a lot of their running in the forest or just wear a cap or visor. Street runners are unhappy with their sunglasses slipping down their nose causing problems rather than helping them.  But with increased information about the damage of UV rays and the increased exposure we have to those rays, eyewear should be just as important as sun block when it comes to personal safety.

Many sunglasses are now made with photochromic lenses that automatically adjust to changing light conditions or interchangeable lenses that pinpoint specific light conditions, making for easy-on-the-eye experiences. And they have new nose pad techonology that allows a more secure grip. Now, many of the companies offer only or optional polarized lenses that help reduce glare and distortion common while running in sunny conditions in urban or rural environments. Picking a pair for running or racing on the roads or track has become much easier in that there are many choices for the avid runner.
