Who doesn’t love a knit cap?  High school friends, Stewart Ramsey and Kohl Crecelius from Spokane WA learned how to crochet and began getting attention from others about their unique and custom-made crocheted caps.  A local newspaper dubbed them the “Krochet Kids” and a movement was born.  Krochet Kidz Intl. has continued to grow and evolve to a point where they earned non-profit status in January 2008. They listened to the women of Uganda and Peru say that they didn’t want aid anymore; they wanted a way to break the cycle of poverty for their families. Stew and Kohl taught them how to crochet and not only gave them a way to make a living but gave them hope for the future of their families. The production of every product...
